About Us

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security) was established in 2020 with an initial intake of 60 students, which increased to 120 in 2023 and further expanded to 180 in 2024. The Department offers an undergraduate programme in Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security), designed to produce competent professionals equipped with strong theoretical foundations and practical skills to secure modern software and hardware systems. The B.Tech. programme emphasizes advanced learning in areas such as ethical hacking, artificial intelligence, and web and data security.

The Department is supported by robust infrastructural facilities that enable high-quality education aligned with current industry needs. It has a team of well-qualified and experienced faculty members with significant academic and industry expertise. To foster continuous learning and skill enhancement among students and faculty, the Department regularly organizes Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), seminars, workshops, and technical symposiums.

Department Infrastructure

To facilitate effectual teaching and learning activities, the department has excellent infrastructure, which include:

  • Well-Stocked Department Library

The Well-Equipped labs help the students to explore beyond the standard curriculum. Apart from the regular labs, research lab is also available for faculties and students to carry out their research and project work. All the labs are allotted to the students as per the timetable in a week. The maintenance of infrastructure is carried out on a timely and thorough manner to ensure the maximum availability and minimum downtime of the equipment and services. All the lab facilities and services are made available to the students even in the after-hours and holidays to enable their maximum utilization.
