Dr. Nadella Vijaya Bhaskar Choudary is a distinguished academician, visionary entrepreneur, and philanthropist deeply committed to the cause of quality education. Hailing from Madanapalle, he has dedicated his life to the advancement of knowledge and upliftment of the society. Guided with a resolute vision, he aspired to establish a globally acclaimed research and academic institution that contributes significantly to the growth of the nation.

He was awarded doctoral degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur for his seminal work on Change Management Practices in the IT Industry. His in-depth analysis of organizational transformation and leadership dynamics played a crucial role in shaping his vision. Dr. Choudary’s mission to enhance the quality of human life through education, innovation, and continuous learning stands as a true reflection of his ideals. This empowers the fraternity of Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science (MITS) adapt to the rapidly evolving global landscape.

Originating from a modest agricultural family, Dr. Choudary firmly believes that while agriculture is the foundation of human existence, technology plays a crucial role in enhancing its productivity and sustainability. Dr. Choudary’s noble vision to deliver quality technical and management education began with the establishment of MITS in 1998 with an intake of 180 students. In recognition of this perseverance, vision, and dedication to educational excellence the UGC conferred MITS with the prestigious Deemed to be University in 2025. Dr. Choudary has published numerous research papers in various reputed national and international journals and conferences. In pursuit of academic excellence, he has travelled extensively across Asia Europe the USA and Africa gaining invaluable insights into diverse educational systems and emerging global trends.

Dr. Choudary’s international exposure and intellectual curiosity have enriched his understanding of emerging technologies and academic innovation. Thousands of MITS alumni are now excelling in their respective fields worldwide, reflecting the institution’s academic strength and impact. Under his visionary leadership, MITS students successfully completed the University Innovation Fellowship program. Stanford University has recognized MITS as one of the most happening campuses. It stands as a testament to the vibrant culture of innovation and academic excellence that defines MITS.

Beyond his commitment to quality technical education, Dr. Choudary actively engages in a wide range of social initiatives, including free medical camps, community outreach programs, blood donation drives. As a pioneering educational entrepreneur, he has emerged as a true change-maker in the field of technical education, redefining academic standards through innovation, accessibility, and community engagement.

In recognition of his exemplary contributions to education and society, Dr. Choudary was honored with the prestigious Paul Harris Award by Rotary International in 2008. He was also conferred the Excellence in Education Sector Award by Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad. His dedication continues to inspire countless students and educators worldwide.
