Equal Opportunity Facilitation Cell

MITS Deemed to be university is constituted an Equal Opportunity facilitation cell for education to all students, irrespective of caste, gender and abilities including persons with Disabilities. The cell provides all-inclusive and accessible environment for all students, faculty and staff. The cell is ensuring several grounds to address issues surrounding identification and engagement of students with socio economically weaker / disabilities, along with the creation of an enabling ecosystem and essential to fully participate in academic and campus life as per the guidelines specified by the UGC and AICTE.

The EOF Cell promote admissions of socio-economically weaker / disabled students in university and Create awareness among stakeholders in the area of equal opportunities on a regular basis. The cell addresses special needs of the students pertaining to teaching-learning process, training and placement, provide free laptops and internet facilities through Institute/State Government. Monitoring a teacher-mentor relations and progress right from entry to exit from the institute. Develop friendly teaching-learning process with use of modern tools and assistive technologies.
