About the College:
Madanapalle Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) is established in 1998 in the picturesque and pleasant environs of Madanapalle and is ideally located on a sprawling 30 acre campus. It has a resort like atmosphere, which is refreshing and exhilarating at the same time. The campus comprises of aesthetically designed buildings that are networked by WIFI technology. The Institution is established in favor of students for learning with modern workshops & labs, computer and Internet facilities, seminar halls, well equipped libraries and sports facilities. MITS Offers 4 year UG courses in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communications, Computer Science and Information Technology, Biotechnology and PG courses in Mechanical,Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communications, Computer Science, MBA & MCA.
MITS, originated under the auspices of  Ratakonda  Ranga Reddy Educational Academy under the proactive leadership of Sri N. Krishna Kumar M.S. (USA), President and Sri N. Vijaya Bhaskar Choudary, M. Com, Secretary and Correspondent of the academy. MITS enjoys constant support and patronage of NRIs with distinguished academic traditions and vast experience in Engineering and Technology. The management spares no effort to develop the institution as one of the best centers of academic excellence.
Madanapalle Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) has set up its trade tradition in producing proficient engineers who are competent and challenged in high professional standards in this generation. About the Department:
The Department of Management Studies was established in the year 2004 and successfully completed 6 batches of 60 intake. The department boasts of its qualified and experienced faculty both in teaching and industry. The department inculcates among the students the necessary skills by providing them opportunities to participate in several national
and international workshops/conferences and also to organize such, in the campus.                          
About The Program:
The main objective of the program is to provide insights on Statistical Applications in Management Research along with a Lab Session on SPSS 19. The topics include :
1. Basics of Research Design & Methodology
2. Importance of statistics in Research
3.Selected Statistical Tools in Research
         Correlation & Regression, ANOVA
          Cluster Analysis, Discriminant Analysis
          Factor Analysis
          Multidimensional Scaling
4.Dejargonising Research Parlances in Publication
5.Interactive Session on specific research areas
6.Full Day Lab Session on Statistical Applications using SPSS
7.Interactive Session on data analysis and interpretation in SPSS

Registration Fee & Mode of Payment:
 Rs. 2000 /- for Executives from industry
Rs. 600 /- for Academicians.
Rs. 500/- for Research scholars.
Rs. 100/- for Students.
Reg. fee is to be paid through Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Principal, MITS, Madanapalle” payable at Madanapalle and sent along with the filled in Registration form.
The registration fee is non-refundable.
This is purely a Non – Residential Program. Still, Hotel Accommodation can be arranged in Madanapalle, on additional charges. The hotel room reservation assistance can be requested by sending an email to mba.events.mits@gmail.com. The Participants shall be provided with Tea, Snacks and Lunch on both the days. A local trip to Horsely Hills a hill resort which stands at an altitude of 1,265 meters above sea level is scheduled for all the participants on the first day evening of the workshop.
